Testimonials

See how this training is making a difference.

Cynthia captivated the audience with her dynamic presentation style and relatable anecdotes. I now have a better understanding of the sensory challenges my clients face and how to help them become regulated for more effective sessions with them. I’ve also been able to implement some strategies at home with my toddler, who is now more open to teeth brushing!

Cynthia’s training was informative and approachable, even as “a non-OT”. She brought lots of materials to make what she was talking about more concrete. I really appreciated her message that anyone can use sensory strategies and knowledge in their sessions. Great training!

Cynthia’s workshop was amazing! She was so engaging and had a wealth of knowledge to share; and loved that she used real-life and functional examples of her own family members and past clients. I had no idea how much of our work revolved around sensory aspects, and will be using her ideas and tips ASAP in therapy. Thank you again and she needs to definitely be on everyone’s workshop list!

Cynthia demonstrated a deep knowledge of sensory integration and a genuine passion for helping others understand and support sensory needs across various populations. I left the session feeling more confident and better equipped to support my clients. I would highly recommend this training to teachers, other professionals, parents and any one inclined to learn the foundation of sensory!

Cynthia has guided my exploration and application of sensory stimulation with young patients since day one. Her wealth of knowledge and practical use of every tool, the way she’s able to read the child and adapt her intervention and her active listening during our case discussions gave me confidence to continue implementing sensory sessions to achieve the gross motor goals set with the families.  What mesmerized me was that sensory also helped my patients to improve in other aspects of their development. I hope our collaboration continues as I have still a lot to learn from her.

This workshop was excellent because the presenter tailored the content to a wide range of professions, emphasizing that sensory awareness is relevant to everyone—not just OTs. She explained everything clearly and concretely, providing practical tools and ideas we can start using immediately. She empowered us to become ‘detectives’ in applying this knowledge safely and effectively, ensuring it can only benefit those we support.

I had the privilege to receive mentoring from Cynthia and to benefit from her extensive expertise. I also followed her in many presentations and teachings, including a variety of talks and practical courses on how to use sensory tools and sensory rooms. Cynthia connects, listens and speaks with her heart and soul. She creates a safe space that supports everyone’s learning. She captivates you with her passion, real-life stories and her ability to help you put yourself in other people’s shoes. Her talks provide concrete information that you can put into action right away, whether you are a caregiver, a teacher or a therapist. My work as an Occupational Therapist, as well my role as a parent have both strongly benefited from her teachings.

Thank you very much for a very informative training. I appreciated the fact of better understanding a sensory diet and whom can implement it for a client. As well, I appreciated knowing that it’s trial and error with many different tools to best help a child who is in need of touch, vestibular and proprioceptive sensory needs. The results can be priceless. This is a great presentation for parents and teachers as well. Well presented thank you.

The workshop on sensory processing was informative and practical. Cynthia's teaching gave me confidence in trying some of these sensory strategies. It also opened my eyes to the idea that these strategies can be used before diving into a speech therapy session, to optimize the child's participation. Thank you, Cynthia!

Cynthia has a TON of knowledge about this topic and presents it in a way that make it easy to understand with lots of examples and videos. Her Sensory Awareness workshop gave me lots of practical tips, including the idea that using a team approach is the way to go for creating a sensory diet. I can also incorporate ideas to address 3 key sensory areas by both asking lots of questions and trying various strategies and tools that she recommends. Thanks so much for a great learning experience!
